PTE (Pearson Test of English) is an English language proficiency test, which is used as an eligibility criterion for admission process in universities all around the world. There are two formats of the PTE: PTE Academic Test and PTE General Test.
What differs PTE Exam from other English language proficiency tests, is the scoring methods and the results. PTE declares results in short time duration than its competitors that are IELTS and TOEFL.
Edugrade services is an approved PTE Registration Centre In Nigeria. For booking PTE Academic online, you need a valid ID, generally a passport. Candidates are also required to show that ID on the day of the exam else they will not be allowed to enter the PTE Test center.
The PTE exam is conducted throughout the year. Edugrade has given the available PTE Test Dates in 2025.
As a general rule, candidates looking to appear for the PTE Academic exam are required to be at least 16 years of age at the time of appearing for the PTE Academic test. Also, there is no education qualification criteria for candidates wanting to appear for the PTE Academic test.
PTE has three modules which are: Speaking and Writing, Reading and Listening. PTE scores are declared within 5 business days of the test, which is the USP of the examination.
